Do you have the Poison Control Center on speed dial? I always do when I have newborn kids. My first son used to eat everything, and a lot of it I was scared of, so we had constant calls til they knew us by name.

We have that number and a bunch of other numbers like that up on the fridge, luckily we havnt had to use any of them yet
My husband's nephew drank a bottle of calamine lotion when he was little. That was enough to teach the whole family a good lesson. Keep the poison control number closeby. On speed dial if you have it, if not, tape it to the base of your phone or something.
We'll have that number and a lot of other numbers on speed dial. Children are curious and fast.

That's certainly true. Like with my husband's nephew... he drank that calamine lotion before his mom even realized he had it. And, wouldn't you imagine that would taste pretty bad? Evidently, taste doesn't really matter much to children.

I only had to call Poison Control once, and it was over nothing. My daughter ate 2 and a half crayons, the crayola ones. I got in a large panic and called Poison Control, they said just look on the box to see if it was toxic or not, luckily it was non-toxic. She had a mild tummy ache however, but she is okay.
