I worked as a travel agent when I had found out I was with child, I told my boss that I would plan to work until the day I popped, which I did, then take 3 months off (this was my first pregnancy by the way), and then return to work FT. What ended up happening was a different story! My son was three weeks early, I did work up til the day I popped and my supervisor drove me home (I could not get anyone on the phone).
I ended up going back to work 6 weeks later, which now - I would have done all over again. I ended up working the night shift, so having a 6 week old child, your SO at the time working days, and you working nights - not so fun.
With my daughter this past year, it was different. I actually resigned from my job as a manager, due to the high level of stress and not getting pregnant. We had tried for about a year before anything happened, and that wasn't until 6 months after I left the job force. Now I am a stay at home mother, and love every minute. :)
