I'm down with the flu and feeling awful. How can I protect my little one from getting my bugs? Do I have to go into solitary?

Lots of hand washing! If you are breastfeeding (not sure if you are male or female by your handle ), then some of your building immunity will pass to baby. Otherwise, chances are baby was exposed when you were most infectious - just before developing symptoms!

I'd say other than handwashing, not much. Don't share the same cup and no mouth kisses. But I'm also the type that understands the only way to build up an immune system is to expose them to illness.

Washing the hands, hand sanitizer, use a mask. I have seen tons done like this before. Being sick doesn't mean you cant still do things for your baby, you just need to take the extra steps to be careful and not spread what you have.
