I still buy the baby fruit in a jar. I spread it on toast in the morning. It has no sugar or no preservatives, so why not?

You know when you think about it there are things like no sugar jams, jellies and I have seen no-sugar marmalades. The pureed baby food alway reminded me uf apple butter; it had almost the same consistency. And I thought I was finished with baby food....lol

Ok, I'll admit it here, I love baby food prunes. They are so sweet and good, and yes the texture is like apple butter. I've never seen pureed prunes for adults (I admit it doesn't sound all that good!) so the babyfood will have to do!

Its been a little while since I had to buy any, and will be a good many more years before I need to help my girls when they start their own familes. I admit, I have never attempted to eat it, but now that I think about it, might be a good idea!

I have never eaten baby food before, besides when...you know? ;)

and since I cannot really think back that far to remember the taste, i'm rather reluctant to try it myself.

I think of Baby food like I do cat food: good for who the target audience is, but not something anyone else would want to have.

I always loved the baby food bananas. They even smelled good. My daughters, once they were too old for baby food, used to ask me to buy them the baby cereal in the jars.
