Do you reward your child for anything he has done good? When he gets older, if he does things, we will let him stay up a little later or go on special trips with him for his rewards.

We never really rewarded. We told them sometimes that we wouldd give them one less chore if it was really good.

I think rewards are ok sometimes but if you use them to much your child will only do nice things because they want a reward and not because its the right thing to do.
Their allowance is their reward for being good. I figure it's their job to be good, and they get paid via allowance. If they don't do their job, they don't get paid. It's a good life lesson for your child.
We are going to do a system of consequence and reward. Nothing in our home will be done only for the reward. That's how I manipulated my parents and I'm not going to allow it. LOL!

We often gave my daughter $5-$10 for every A she had on her report card. It was good until she got older and wanted more money.
