Do you do it? Have you made some for your children? I don't do alot of scrapping, but I love taking pictures of my son, I can never have enough. I do more photobooks than scrap books, he is still a little young for that. I am a snapshot queen I think. :) And he loves the camera so thats even better, he just gets a big grin on his face whenever I start taking pictures. Maybe he will be a model when he is older, and be my retirement. :D

I have to get another photo book soon for my girl, I have already went through two of them. Most of the pictures we take are on the digital camera, and go on her website gallery, but I get some printed out when I see a freebie deal online where we only have to pay shipping (comes in handy).

I love making little collages and booklets with his pictures! I've cut squares out of his clothes as he outgrows them and use them for backgrounds on pages with pictures of him wearing those clothes and stuff. hehe

I wish I could keep a scrap book. The only problem is, I know I'll end up placing it somewhere, forgetting where it is, and not finding it for a long time.

I don't recall my mom ever having a scrapbook of me at all. She might have one somewhere, but I haven't had many pictures taken of me lately. She doesn't even have a grad picture printed of me.

My mom has photo albums (somewhere) chronologically of me as a child and a small "brag book" we kept updated for my dad to take on military deployments. Scrapbooking wasn't a fad like it was now, so you mostly just kept photos and thin mementos like ticket stubs or paper clippings in albums back then. I started a scrapbook though so I'd imagine I'd add some pictures of any kids we have and make them their own as well. I really want to make one of those school years frames for my kids. The ones with a hole for a school picture from kindergarten to 12th grade. I think thats a neat idea.

For the older kids that I watch, we take a day out of the week and make little things for the parents, as sometimes some of the people I babysit for work more than a normal 40 hour work week. The parents really enjoy it and its something creative that the kids can do, so I don't mind the mess at all. :)

I am addicted to taking photos. My unborn child has a scrapbook that starts with me picking a house. There are sonogram pictures in there, hospital wrist bands, and everything else I could keep hold of!

I think it's a wonderful way to hold onto memories.
