One of the best ways to interact with your baby, even before it is born, is to sing to him/her. The music is soothing, and they'll get to know the sound of your voice and recognize you as mommy/daddy right away. You don't have to be Andrea Bocelli to sing to your baby. Your child is not a critic. Just sing!

 I wouldn't subject anyone (including baby) to my awful singing. LOL

LOL MinnieMa, just think of it this way, your baby has nothing to compare it to. To him, you have the voice of an angel.

I don't know if I agree with that. I heard my brother's wife sing to their baby one day (if Simon Cowel would have been there he'd of said "If I'm being honest, that was absolutely horrible.") the baby started just a screamin'. I think she honestly scared her. So, no, not everybody should sing to their baby. Buy CD's!! Leave the singing to people who can actually do it.

I like to sing. I'm not good at it, but I enjoy it. So, yeah, I'll sing to my babies. Of course I'll make it soft lullabies. I won't screech out some noisy rock tune or attempt to rap or anything foolish like that. And if they scream and cry, I'll stop.
