Until what week of your conception did you take a leave? With my first baby, it is exactly at 40 weeks. With my second one it is a little early because I am resigning that time. Now with my third one I am planning to take a leave at 38 weeks.

My job is a desk job, and very flexible, so I worked up until the day I had the baby. I was careful not to over do it, but I would have gone crazy sitting at home waiting for the baby to arrive!

I was off work for a little while on bed rest and I never went back to work right after so I was lucky (in some ways). The best rest was horrible, and boring, and I went stir crazy.

Yea I worked til the day I popped with my first, that was interesting. I couldn't get ahold of anyone @ home, my boss drove me home, I didn't have my house keys, so I stood there knocking on the door til roommate answered. :D With my second I was working from home, so it didn't really matter, I just woke at 4am one day and was thinking, yep its time.

My boss won't allow me to take a leave on my 38th week. So I will be working until the end of December and will be waiting my due date on the 5th of January. I also want to work until my due date. But I fell uneasy already.
