Is there ever a time when you can give your baby too much liquids, or do they just stop drinking them? I would not want to drown a baby in too many liquids, but it seems that they all take a lot. Also I think that to a point it would be healthy for them to stay hydrated.

Their bodies normally prompt them for what is necessary, there are times when all my baby wants is fluids and another he just wants solids, just make sure the fluids you give is nutritous.
Right now I have the same issue with my girl that is over a year, she likes the sippy cup more as a toy than a cup and only drinks about half what she should in a day unless I remind her.

I've never been good about drinking enough water but have known plenty of kids who automatically knew what they needed for liquids for the day. I'm not so sure about making sure the liquids are nutritious as I'm a big fan of mostly water, but so long as they're not drinking soda and Kool-Aid its pretty good. I do know as an adult its quite a bit of water before you get into the unhealthy range. You're stomach would probably revolt before you hit it.
