I had the baby in my room the next day. I was going to be in the hospital a couple of days any how because I ended up having a C-section. I was going to be breastfeeding also. My mother thought I was nuts. She said that I needed to rest, but the way I figured it was that once I got pregnant my days of rest were over. Motherhood was calling.

Did anyone else have the baby in their rooms after giving birth? There are some hospitals that allow that.

I would have the baby in the room with me during the day, but I would let the nurses take the baby back to the nursery in the evening when I was going to sleep.
