View Full Version : Toddler bed or safety rails on a regular bed?

Ok, I've seen the thread on what age to switch out of the crib. But in your experience what has worked better for your kids. Did you go out and purchase a toddler bed or did you just buy safety rails for a regular bed?
I've even thought of just placing the single mattress on the floor.

I think buying a special toddler bed is a waste. I mean it's the same size as a crib isn't it? So either keep them in the crib or put them in a bed-it makes little sense otherwise.

Rails work great.

I think they pass through the toddler phase too fast to justify getting a bed then. I agree with GoodStuff to just get regular bed and use rails.
