In the last few months, my son has thrown up a few times while eating in his car seat. I guess it's from the bumpy ride or just being shook up generally. So we are not too keen on him eating while driving. Last week, he started coughing as if he was going to throw up so we quickly loosed him from the car seat. He was elated (he hates the car seat), after making sure he was ok, we decided to put him back. Would you believe the child started to cough again in an attempt to prevent us from putting him in the seat. He just turned two at the end of May and he already trying to outsmart us.
That sounds well normal to me, terrible twos or threes doesnt really matter somewhere in those two years it will happen. A friend of mine has a three year old doing similar and it drives him batty since he is the SAHD.

Oh my. Next time hand him the bucket, I think! ;)
I used to get sooo carsick as a child. Not from eating, but from looking down at my feet or a book or anything but looking out the window.

Heh, I have to second handing him a sick bowl! My niece has issues with easy vomiting too, but never used it as a get out from things. She has plenty of other tricks up her sleeve though, I guess it's the age!
Wow, these kids really know how to use their heads on their unassuming mommies. What they don't know is that we have been down that path before.
