I have a truck. It does not have a backseat. Is it safe to go on a trip with the baby (once it's born) in my truck? Can I just strap in the carseat? Or is there a law that there actually has to be a backseat?

I think there might be a law in PA were I live. You should check your state laws.

Its probably a good idea to have your child in the back seat anyway, it is a lot safer.

A baby should not be in the front seat. I would look into trading that truck in on a decent family car.
