I've been given many differing opinions on vitamin D for breastfed babies. Most doctors seem to only reccomend it as a precaution, most don't even know there's vitamin D in breastmilk. I gave them to mine, when I remembered to, but only for about three months. Then I gave up trying to remember.

Did you give them and how often?

Breast milk has been around forever, formula has not. So why is it suddenly that formula is the gold standard for vitamin content?

I would believe far more that my body and it's creator knew what they were doing, than believe that I cannot support my own child.

That's a no by the way :D

I would have to agree with that. If you're eating healthy you don't need to supplement your breast milk as its what nature has spent years perfecting to nourish your children. doctors don't always know best.
