Does anyone have a favorite detergent that you use with your baby's clothes? I used Deft. It was something that I remembered that my Mom used when my brother and sister were babies. She said that it was mild and wouldn't cause any rashes. I know that there is some others out on the market, but I've forgotten what they were?
Anyone have any ideas?

I think there's one called Borax. That's supposed to be good for babies. I would use the fragrance free detergents also. If the clothes were still unstained and there was just a few pieces, I would wash it out by hand in something like mild like ivory shampoo.

I don't think anyone in my family has ever bought a special detergent for washing baby clothes. So far, none of the babies have had sensitive skin. Everyone I know just pretty much buys a good brand like Tide or Wisk and does all the laundry together.

The diaper services always had coupons for certain detergents, but I can't remember what they were.

I have tried that (Deft) with both of my children, and neither liked it. I switched back to Tide. :) This way Im not doing seperate laundry - I have enough to do already.

I use Earth laundry detergent. Used it for my sons clothes too. I'm highly allergic to so many things, if I can use it on my clothes, it's darn well baby safe!! lol
