I have some friends that were pregnant, and lost more weight than they should have after the baby's birth, so what can someone do healthy to gain back the weight them missed? I know some have tried the weight gainers, but they didn't work out so well for some with high metabolism, so what are some home remedies you might know? Thanks!

Depending on their body structure and how much body fat they have they could work on toning their body to turn the fat into muscle. Muscles weighs more than fat so if they are just looking at numbers thats the best plan. If they are already pretty small adding bulk would be the way to gain weight. Lots of carbs and strength training will build the muscle on, but when/if they stop they will most likely convert the muscle back to fat. Visiting the nutritionist the next time the kids have a checkup would probably be the best way to find a solution for their specific needs.

I would also look to see that they have sufficient protein and good fats in their diet. Without the balance of foods being correct, they won't get the benefit from them that they should.
I was alway short and a little curvy. :D I didn't have to hide any pregnancy, not that I would have, with my first 2, I sported the bikini during the last few months, not many women do that, but I have that "screw you hippie" attitude for random people, if they don't like seeing a prego in a bikini, then they don't have to look. :)

Well, I had a gained a lot when I was preggy with Dana. I gained 5 or more pounds I think. And now, I can't hardly get back to my previous weight! sigh
