Wonderful article I just sent to my neice, she just had her first afew months ago, and everytime we talk (even though she moved back with her mom for abit) she always still has a ton of questions. Heck, sometimes I still do and I have two already of my own.

That was an interesting, and pretty accurate article. My kids are grown up, I don't work, but my husbands retirement sure is a bang up fearful idea.

I think one of the main reasons I lost sleep (besides being 1/2 insomniac) is that I have always had to handle things on my own, I'm not used to asking for help, and I always want things done when they should be (ASAP). I still have that problem, lucky though - I have learned what cat naps are for. :D

It's been a few years since mine were babies, but I don't remember losing much sleep. At least not when I had the chance to sleep. Very little keeps me awake when I'm ready to sleep. When I put my head down and close my eyes, 9 out of 10 times, I'll be asleep within 10 minutes. The tenth time, it might take me fifteen minutes.

I'm a little freakish for sleep my whole life. But it definitely got worse with my kiddo! The same things stress me out that were always things I needed to worry about, but now they are SO MUCH SCARIER! It's one thing to worry about financial desperation when you'll be alone at a shelter or in your car. It's completely different when you'll be taking that beautiful baby with you to those places. Completely different.

Everything keeps me awake....I prefer a dark quiet room. :D

The only thing that keeps me from sleeping is constantly wanting to play with my gorgeous little boy. I pretty much just crash whenever he does. I think I probably sleep more now than I ever did before him!
