Our baby's room used to be my wife's sewing/crafts room. She moved all that stuff to the basement because the room was right across from our room so it was the most logical place for a nursery. I know some people converts guest rooms or home offices to nurseries as well. So, what did yours used to be?

The closest bedroom to ours was always the nursery.

We are actually making a finished basement and moving our guest room down there. The old guest room is going to be our child's room.

We always had a spare bedroom, and we just made it into a nursery. It wasn't really that hard.

One bedroom apartment here, so we're trying to decide if we should put the crib in our room or the front room.

Have you guys thought about expanding to a 2-Bedroom? It might not be that much more.

But the money also has to go to the baby. He might not have enough to spend on that.

Yeah, we just got this place when we found out about the baby. It's pushing our budget limit already. 2 bedrooms would be nice, but not practical right now.

We had a two bedroom, starter ranch style house. There was a room that was a family room off the livingroom. We kept the pool table there. That came down and it became the our bedroom. The room that we had been using became the nursery.

I had to move in with my brother when my baby sister was born a few years ago. It was rough at first but it all worked for the best

My office was converted when we had kids. We then moved into a larger house.

We started off in a one bedroom apartment. But circumstances still let us have a nursery for the baby. Off the kichen was a laundry room for those who had their own washer and dryer. There was also a coin operated laundry room in the apartment complex for those of us who didn't have the cash to buy our own machines. Our empty laundry room made a perfect nursery.

My daugher is fortunate enough to be starting off in a 4 bedroom house. They're converting a bedroom that was previously just used for storage.

Wow umm lets see. With my second (girl born last Oct.) the nursery was downstairs, used to be a spare bedroom, then her nursery.

When she was about 6 months old, we took that nursery and moved it upstairs, to what used to be her fathers office.

So right now, her room is orange paint (bright orange, think Home Depot here) and pink, hahaha.

The rooms downstairs are now, master bedroom & his office, then upstairs her bedroom & my office (which happens to be dark purple). So upstairs its lady land as I call it > NO BOYS ALLOWED! :D

None of my kids had a "nursery". Just a plain old bedroom.
