We have a new (six months) grandson, and I would like to get him (our daughter really) something she would really like for Christmas...Any ideas, what was the most helpful gift you got? Been so long for us, and there are so many products now. This would be for about nine months on, in age...suggestions much appreciated!:)

Clothes always seem to be needed the babies grow so fast!!!!!!! What about a 'bigger' car seat if baby is still in the infant one?

A walker, a toy, or an Xbox360? :D
But seriously, clothes are the best gifts you could give. Everyone loves to receive clothes especially if they are new.

My favorite gift was a great big playpen. I know they aren't popular now, but it was very nice to have a safe place to put my baby down when I needed to do so quickly. When something is boiling over on the stove you don't want to be holding a wriggly baby!

It wasn't a gift, but something that I bought that is the best thing ever. The Leap Frog Learn Around Playground. There is just so much or a little one to do-starting out lying on their back batting the hanging colors or the different texture cloths, then sitting or standing and playing music, the alphabet, or with the ball chute.
