Ive heard baby's start to crawl anywhere between 6 months and 10 months old? I was just wondering when everyones child started to crawl?

My daughter hadn't quite reached 6 months when she started to crawl, but she did everything pretty early. She was walking before she was 10 months old.
My children were about 5-7 months if I remember.

6 months is about the time that both of mine did. Once they did I started sweating bricks...it meant that they would be walking and that's when the trouble begins....lol

Yes, the walking is definitely frightening cause with the walking comes the falling. And then they get to the age when they discover "hey I can climb". Oh my goodness, that's scary. My cousin woke up one morning and found her almost 4 year old daughter sitting on top of the refrigerator eating cereal out of the box. They kept a box of cereal up there for easy access in the morning. Evidently her little one went from a kitchen chair to the counter, climbed on top of the microwave and I don't know what else (I think there's a canister set or something on top of the microwave but I'm not sure). She could've gotten badly hurt if she had fallen. Each new thing they learn is as scary as it is exciting.
I think both of my kids started about 4-6 months, with the scooting that babies do. My son born in 02 was more of a crawler, than his baby sister (now 8 months) had ever been. I think she will be going from independent sitter, to walking in no time - she seems more impatient than her brother.

Wow, I can't really remember... I think he was about 6 months old when he started to crawl. It's weird that I can't really remember. I feel a little guilty... lol
