I just took my 2 year old in for his first appointment and the dentist mentioned painting xylitol instead of fluoride on the teeth. He said it's less toxic to the body, but works just as well. Have you ever heard of this? I don't know if I should do it or not. My older two had fluoride... we have well water, so no fluoride in the water.
