baby's sex

How many wanted to know the baby's sex before it was born ? I wanted to know so I could be better prepared. For the ones who knew ahead ,were ever the drs wrong?

I did not want to but I did find out. I told everyone including the doctor, I did not want to find out. He told my husband, who started making all kinds of comment. So I knew the sex, even though I did not let on.

I wouldn't want to know. And if my husband told me I would have beaten him for not respecting my wishes. While it could help me prepare I think part of the fun of being pregnant is wondering what you are going to have.

I always want to know the sex of my baby before they will be out in this world. I want to buy the right stuff for them. And of course the name should be prepared already before going to the hospital.

I also wanted to know what I was going to have. The drs could also be wrong too.it happens sometimes. I met a woman once who the dr said was going to have a girl and it was a boy.So even if they tell you there is still an air of mystery that they could be wrong.Hopefully you would not be dissapointed.

Although I do not really care if my child will be a boy or girl, I am curious to know in advance whenever possible,if only to better prepare myself for the best way to raise the child.

I didn't know, or want to know with any of my 3. I love the surprise. When you find out, there's no air of mystery, no joy of being told "it's a ___"

I don't care about buying stuff beforehand. Most baby equipment is unisex anyhow. It's just clothes that are gender different.

Especially with the last two, I knew what was happening throughout the pregnancy so the boy/girl mystery was the only surprise left.
