Is anyone using birth control right now or are we all having babies and working to make some? I have been on Depo for 1.5 year now and my doctors want me to switch to lower my chances of osteoporosis as it already runs in my family. I am thinking about Implanon, its a chip inserted into the sub-dermal layer of your arm, I think thats the second layer? Anyone have advice on this or other forms? I am allergic to many of the BC pills, so advice would be great if you have some to shed here.

We don't have health insurance so we use prophylactics My sister-in-law has the chip you're talking about. She was using the depo and switched for the same reasons after she had her third child recently. She's about 29 so I thought it was a bit early to be worrying about osteo, but I imagine it has to do with having three kids as well.

Well the osteo runs in my family, from what I have learned the 'perosis' from my father and my 1/2 sister has the osteopemia I think its called? I have also some weak bones, like when I walk down steps my ankles pop and my knees too from past sports fun. I am waiting to see what the doctors say.
