Did any of you ladies use the belly band when you were pregnant? I have some friends who have used it...it's supposed to help you wear your pre-pregnancy clothes a little longer.

No, never heard of them besides not sure if its a good idea to constrict your belly like that. It grows because something inside is growing.

My friend's wife is pregnant right now and she tried it. She said she hated it and that it did not work so it was a waste of money.

The only bellyband I had heard of before this is a concealed carry holster for a gun. Interesting concept but I like my maternity clothes though.

I wear those bands but only after giving birth. They're called post-delivery girdle belt. I didn't know anyone would actually think of putting them on while still pregnant. You're not supposed to restrict your belly and docs say you're not to wear any too tight pants or clothes because of that, so this is a little bit shocking to me.
