What is or was your favorite part of being pregnant? Mine was feeling my baby kick inside of me. I cannot wait to get that feeling back again!

My wife says for her, the best part was when the doctor confirmed that she was pregnant. I think it was too becuase she was hardly coherent on the phone when she called to tell me.

Maybe this sounds weird, but for me, the best part was the birth, and anticipating the birth. I LOVE giving birth, I wish I could do it ten more times (but I don't want that many kids! ). It's such an amazing process.

And yes, I did it natural. At home, on my own terms. Next time I'm telling the midwife to just step back and let me and my hubby do it, and she's just there for emergency back up.

For me it was finding out that I was having a girl. I wanted a girl-I think that most of the time people have a preference but are too politically correct to say.

So I was overwhelmingly happy when I learned that.

The best part of being pregnant for was feeling the baby move. Not just the little fluttering you first feel, I knew I was pregnant then but it just felt like gas sometimes then. Feeling my babies rolling or kicking just made the pregnancy real to me.

I was extremely excited when the baby started moving, I was constantly smiling like a Cheshire cat. Sometimes persons would see me break out into a smile for no apparent reason, so I would quickly have to explain.

The pause after the birth when it feels like time stands still. Im not sure for other ladies out there but for me after the birth I just looked at my baby and heard nothing like the nurses and doctors around me, felt nothing but love.

I really like feeling the baby kick too, that was for sure the best part. Now that I am not pregnant, my stomach growls sometimes and I think wow that almost feels like when I felt the baby kick and it brings back happy memories.
