This is one of my favorite lunch recipes. Take 16 oz of chicken broth and boil one bag of frozen broccoli florets until tender. Use a stick blender (or a collander and fork) to break up the broccoli to desired consistency. Add in 1/4 cup of cream and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted and add salt and pepper to taste.

Sounds yummy. I definitely will have to try this out. I would imagine that it works for cauliflower as well. I think I will also add some potatoes into the pot as well.

This and potato are my two favorite soups and I really need to learn how to make them instead of buying it all the time. Have you ever made a large batch in a crock pot?

Sounds delicious and now that the cooler weather is here, soup is a great way to warm up. Going to get busy and start making some stews.
