Cord blood

Did anybody here bank the baby's cord blood? We struggled with this decision, but ultimately decided it was too expensive and didn't do it. Whatever decision you made, do you feel you did the right thing?

I am with you. My husband and I looked into it, but the prices are not right for our family. There are so many advantages to having the cord bloods. The medical advances are growing by leaps and bounds. God only know what they will be able to do with the cords blood in 10 years time.

I have to admit that I never gave a second thought to harvesting the cord blood from any of the kids. I am not sure that it will really be worth it. It is like thinking that something bad is going to happen.
