So I just got invited to a baby shower. A friend from college. My question is how much do you guys normally spend on a gift? Assuming you are friends with the person but not that close?

I found a site with great newborn gifts at really good prices and they have a section gifts under 30 dollars. Which seems good enough?

To my mind, it's not the cost but the thought that counts and some of these gifts are really pretty. There isn't much that you can buy for a baby shower that's unique but as babies need things like this in abundance I'm sure your friend will be pleased with any of these for under 30 dollars.
