Diaper Allergy

The little one seems to have a diaper allergy. We keep changing brands, and she is ok for a few days. Then the rash starts.

We're running out of brands to try-is there something that is perfume free and hypoallergenic?

Have you considered cloth diapers? Then you can launder them yourself in hypoallergenic soap. Or you can choose a dye free/perfume free/gel free brand like 7th generation.

Or go way out there and just train your baby now. I'm serious, check out diaperfreebaby.

Plenty of children have diaper allergies. Most find there is enough of a difference between brands to not have to continue searching or watching their child be uncomfortable. I know Seventh Generation (who also make a popular line of other household products such as paper products and cleaners) has diapers which are latex free, etc. However I would imagine they are rough on a budget.

My daughter had the same problem. She always got a rash ring around her legs. We went through several different brands to try and find diapers that would not do this to her. Finally, after trying all the more expensive national brands without any luck, we tried a cheaper Walmart Brand called Dry Bottoms. This was the only disposeable diaper that did not cause her to break out. I don't know what the difference was, but I was thrilled they worked. They were also just as good at keeping her dry and not leaking as the more expensive brands.
