I've had friends tell me that they didn't find out because they "wanted to be surprised." Well, in my opinion, it's just as much a surprise either way... just one way is sooner than the other

My children were also too modest to show us. We didn't really want to know either, because like some one stated their are not many surprises in life so why rush knowing! I also didn't want to get all pink stuff and have a boy. Blue is OK on a girl but pink on a boy is not going to happen in our family.

We found out the first time and I can't wait to find out this time around as well. Seems like it's going to take forever for 20 weeks to get here!

We never checked. We always went in for the surprise. It became a family pool, to see not only how late I'd be, the weight, the length and the gender.

We do not want to know and it is driving our family nuts too. It is true their are not many surprises in life and we would like the gender of our kid to be a special moment in our lives in the delivery room.

We also did not find out, not from lack of trying though. She was too modest when it came to ultrasound day. I even got up and walked the hospital and jumped up and down to no avail. She stayed sleeping with her legs crossed. Hope she is that modest as a teen!
