I had an epidural with my son. I went into delivery with no predetermined idea about drugs. He was my first so I didn't know what to expect and I figured if I make it without help then great. If not, that was okay too. Well, there was no way I was going to get through that without the epidural, lol.

I had 4 natural deliveries and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I was awake and alert for the entire delivery. Yes, there was pain, but the wonderful thing was that when the pain stopped, I felt great and could thoroughly enjoy my baby and my husband.
