Do Any of Those Ab Machines Work?

After another night of next to no sleep I was watching infomercials on TV for all the weight loss gimmicks. Has anyone tried any of the ones for abs? Do they work even decently compared to what they say? I hate doing ab exercise although I really ought to and was thinking perhaps having one of those would help motivate me.

It may help to motivate you for a few weeks, then you find reason to not use it anymore. Motivation has to come from within you.

Take it from someone who has bought machines for losing inches - DON'T - unless you are someone who has always been keen on fitness/training. If you've never been in the habit of going to the gym or laying time aside in the home to 'work out' then you won't suddenly get the motivation to do so just because you've bought the equipment.

With a new baby to care for, time will be even less available to you and what time you have will probably be spent resting!

Just eat sensibly and aim to lose a little weight over a period of time. Walk as much as you can - even round the block pushing the pram will help.

Don't stress, once baby is toddling you'll be burning up those calories running after him/her!
