Driving

My oldest will turn 16 in January and of course wants his driver's license and thus his freedom. After driving through the high school traffic just now, I am thinking I will never ever let him drive. Not really, but seriously though, just how do you ever let them drive when others their age drive like they are in a bumper car game???

I'm not sure how to answer this, as I don't drive at all so I have no problems refusing to let my youngster drive for a few years. I don't see what the rush is, simply put.

I understand completely. My oldest keeps talking about driving and getting his license. I don't want him to even talk about it! The good thing, is that in my state, Kentucky, you have to have your permit for at least a year before you can get your license and you can't get your permit before age 16.

That is a good thing nina. My son is 14 and already talking about driving. However, with the way some people drive these days, I know I will not be turning him loose in a car all alone when he is 16. To me that is just asking for trouble.

My son is 16 and has his permit. He drives me and my husband around and for now, that's as good as it's going to get.

You have to give kids some confidence
you must learned him how how to drive car in young age make him driving the car and you are sitting with him.
This is the best thing for teenagers to teach them safe driving.
When I was young Involved with a close friend to me to steal my father car .
I will not forget these days .
