I was wanting to know what is needed for an adoption of a family member. My nephew is in a foster home currently as his parents are both incarcerated. I would love to adopt him and get him back with family. Please help.

I am certainly no authority, but I would think you could start with the local DSF, or whatever agency placed him in foster care. They should be able to direct you on your quest. Good luck, I hope you get this innocent child back into your family (and home).

Thanks for the suggestion, I've never really thought about calling the people that took him away. DCFS are the ones that took him away, I will surely give them a call.
