Family Time

What is the activity when you considered it as a family time? In my family, we always talk about things when we are eating and it takes us 1 hour to finish our food because we just talk a lot. But there is a good thing in there because if there are any problems that the children have, they can always tell them. How about you, when is your family time?

General talking like you stated, family game or movie nights work too. Sometimes just taking 15 minutes of a day is good to help bond family members. I think it depends on your family's work/school/everything else schedule.

We normally have family time on the weekends when my husband doesn't work after we get home from laundry/grocery shopping. We just make dinner and chill and talk. As a kid we had "family meetings" one a week and one weekend day just for family, no friends, no other appointments.
