Family Vacations

We did weekend trips when my kids were older, but not until the youngest was atleast 5 so that we did not have to fool around constant stops for feeding the little ones. Most places we went to were like Hershey Park, Kings Dominion. We have yet to take a full vacation to a resort, does anyone have some suggestions? I want to surprise my kids (and their partners) with a full family vacation for about two weeks next summer.

Quality family time is very essential to every family. No matter how busy you are or your spouse, you must take ample time to have a vacation or spend quality time together. Family bonding is of utmost priority!

Try going to a beach or go camping for a change. Try asking the children what they wanted in a vacation without giving them a hint that you are planning one.

We didn't even take our baby to a restuarant to eat till she was older.Have you ever went and tried to enjoy a peaceful meal and babies were crying and fussing? I eat fast food till mine were older.Same with vacations. I would wait till they were old enough to enjoy them also.

I like the idea of camping or the beach. Rent a house up at a lake or something so you don't have to worry too much and can chill and hang out and spend quality time. We never went on vacations unless it was moving from one place to the next and stopping at monuments.

I’m thinking of Disneyland when someone is mentioning vacation. Although, I have not yet to go there, I believe that the family can have a great time there, riding some rides and seeing some famous character from the Disneyland.

If you don’t have any money for that kind of budget then you can always play with your children while they are playing their Playstation. This way you can spend some quality time together and at the same time save some money.

So far we have just taken the normal road trips from one state close to ours or another. Sometimes visit family close but nothing really far just yet.

When I was younger we used to go camping every other weekend during the summer. It was stressful for my parents but great for me and my brother. We had a blast. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I know it might be hard now but it will create a lifetime of memories for your children.
