Father of 2 Year Old...

Hey, my name is Trevor. I have a two year old son named A.J. He is my baby boy, but I am starting to get into the terrible twos. The only regret I have is giving him half of my candy bar one day. He absolutely loves candy bars and now I can't take him anywhere without getting one. I hope it gets better.

Hey Trevor,

I remember the terrible two's. With mine being so close together in age, the terrible two's lasted longer than the norm. It can either be nerve racking or an experience to remember....trust me!...lol

I can't think of much thats scarier than a terrible two year old on sugar. Treat the candy as poison until they get through that age. As for the rest of it, just take a deep breath and jump in there. No way to avoid it. It's definitely a learning experience for you and the little one.

I'm so not looking forward to this stage. I've heard some funny but sad stories on this subject. WOW!

My son who is now 5 actually didn't hit that issue until he turned 3 and then he seemed to make up for the fact he gave us 1 extra year. My daughter will be hitting her terrible two's in a few months.

Gives ya alot to look forward to doesn't it.

Exactly the same with my son that is now five. We were hoping he would skip that stage, sadly he did not. Now with my daughter who is only 8 months, I am seriously hoping that she can skip the stage (if I have any luck at all).
