Goat's milk

I've been blessed to have plenty of milk for my babies, but I have friends who don't. They supplement with *FRESH* goat's milk. It is the closest in composition to human milk and easy for baby to digest. If you get it from someone who is careful about what the goats eat, it tastes better than cow's milk, too! The canned stuff you can get in the store is already going bad, and the goats ate who-knows-what; that's why it tastes bad.

Goat´s milk is very healthy for a baby and causes less allergic reactions than other types of milk or milk substitutes. It is important to get it from someone who knows what they are doing.

That is so interesting to know and makes me want to go get a couple of goats. I have had a bad run with cows milk over the past year and would love to find an alternative like goat's milk.

I never thought of that and I live on a farm with goats. I guess I see their natural condition and while I milk them for cheese, it never crossed my mind to feed it to the babies.
