Do any of you go places without your husband? I have the opportunity to go to my mom's on Labor Day weekend but he won't come with me. It takes a lot out of me because it is an 8 hour drive, would you still go?

Yes I would still go. My husband works a lot and I often have a chance to go places with out him. This is a chance to see someone who lives far away and I would not miss that.

It depends. How many kids will you be traveling with? I often hesitate to go places when I know I won't have the helping hands of my husband with the smaller ones. If your kids are older, say over 6yrs old, it may not be a big deal.
