Ugh! Headaches seem to run in my family. My husband gets migraines (we know milk/dairy is a trigger), my son gets migraines (his trigger is red food coloring), and I sometimes get visual migraines (where it affects my vision but there's no pain). Right now I have the kind of headache that HURTS.

What do you do for a headache??

I just take ibuprofen and go lay down in a dark and quiet room. Cold helps a lot of times, too. If I can't lay down, then I might hide out in the shower for a little bit until the ibuprofen kicks in!

I too go lay in a dark room. I run the humidifier because that helps sometimes and put a cool wash cloth over my eyes. I also make sure I drink plenty of water because when I am not I tend to get them.

It has been quite awhile since the last time I got a headache, and I feel grateful for that. I don't usually need pills to get rid of it and just take a good rest.
