My wife gets really bad headache/migraines and they have been an often occurrence thus far in the pregnancy. She can take and has been taking Tylenol but it does not even touch her pain. She will go days without getting out of bed because they just won't go away. Is their anything else she can take or do?

While she is pregnant there may not be anything else she can take but she should definitely bring it up with her OB next time she goes in.

I agree, I would definitely take it up with the OB. Taking a warm shower or bath, a cold compress at the base of your neck or getting a massage may help. Sometimes headaches can be caused by low blood sugar so eating smaller more frequent meals can help too.

I know that I have taken pain pills when I was pregnant. I didn't have the headache issue but I had TMJ pain. My doctor prescribed me some pain medication and my baby was fine when she was born. I would definately mention it to your OB.

Thank you ladies and we will defiantly be bringing it up in a couple weeks at the next appointment. I will also rub her neck maybe that will help.
