How do you do bedtime?

Do you have a set bedtime routine? Do you let your children determine their own bedtime? Do they go to bed early or late?

I need a good bedtime routine. We tend to be night owls and not morning people, so we go to bed later than most, and get up later than most (since we homeschool, we don't have to get up at 6 or 7 to get to school on time).

Ever since my son was born he has been put to bed around 8:30. We sit down and watch a movie after dinner then I give him a bath, get him in pj's and then tuck him in and read him a story. Usually he goes right to sleep.
