How often do you stop, when driving?

When my baby was still rear-facing, we could go a little longer between stops because I could sit next to her and nurse while driving, but now that she's forward-facing, we have to stop at LEAST every 2-3 hours - and then she often doesn't want to get back in her seat!

We stop as many times as everyone needs to. I can't imagine not being able to stop when I needed to go to the bathroom. It's a tough thing to do when you are a young child, being made to sit in a car seat and ride for long periods of times. We always stopped every couple of hours and got out and stretched our legs.

2-3 hours is an awfully long time! We stop almost hourly if there is a rest stop available, and if not we are willing to pull off the freeway to find somewhere.
