Just ignore it. Do whatever you want to do. There are pros and cons for every situation. I breastfed for 8 months, but now I'm pregnant and my milk supply has decreased so I had to start supplementing formula. I'm happy that I did it though, mainly because it saved money and was convenient during travel and outings. However, it pretty much made me solely responsible for feedings and dad was less involved... which by 7/8 months gets annoying! It seemed like even when I had pumped the milk, I was still the one who ended up bottle-feeding! I know that I was never breastfed, nor were my brothers and sisters, and we are all perfectly healthy. Make your own choices and just respond to the comments with a simple "thanks, i'll think about it".

Im still in my college years and Im just curious, why do strangers try to question anyone who doesn't do breastfeeding. There are lots of reason why someone would prefer not doing the said breastfeeding, work for example. Just like my sister's friend, she is a working mom and its impossible for her to breastfeed most of the times. Its indeed true that breasrmilk is still the best for babies but if doing such is impossible, why not try other ways of maintain a child's proper nutrition..right??

Breastfeeding is a lovely way to care for your baby, and when it's going well, it is a warm and rewarding relationship. It's also healthy, with long term benefits for you and your baby.
