Hello, my name is Koko, and I have a 6 month old baby girl, who is having a lot of feeding difficulties and I am basically looking for some advice...
She is physically refusing her bottle.
The doctor has given us special instructions for her formula. Instead of 1 scoop of formula per ounce, she gets 2 scoops of formula per ounce. We have also added Ovaltine to the formula, per the doctors order.
One more thing I should mention is that she will only take her bottle ICE COLD.
She is refusing it, though she will take a bit of liquid if we "force it", though that has resulted on more than one occasion in emesis . We have tried the following.
* Plain formula
* Formula with Ovaltine
* Pediasure
* Pedialite
* Whole milk
* Juice
The only thing she seems to want is water from her father's glass. But I am concerned about water toxicity. So we've only allowed her to have a small amount.
I am frustrated and concerned and she's dehydrated, and I don't know what else to do.
