Lochia-Duration

How long does the lochia generally last after childbirth? I am at two weeks and counting and still bleeding and am looking forward to it finally being over.

I think it just depends. Two weeks after my first baby was born, I stopped bleeding but after my second one, it was a week longer. The best advice is to ask your doctor.

With my first, it took forever! Heavyish the first two weeks, and then enough to need a pantyliner for 6 more weeks after my first!

With my second, I had a hemorrhage after his birth, lost a lot of blood, and only had light lochia for 1 week.
