A lot of times, when I watch my kids do their thing, I get flashbacks. I just want to shout at them "I've done that before! I have! I have!". Watching my kids just bring forth all those fond memories of myself as a kid. It's quite lovely. My kids and I are more alike than what they realise.

So true! I was watching my younger child pick up little 'treasures' he found on the ground - a bent penny, a strange shaped rock, an odd button - and put them in this little wallet/purse type thing that used to belong to his grandmother. Boy, did that bring back memories of the little stash of treasures I would keep in MY small little zippered purse with it's see through window. *Sigh* such carefree days!
