I have some old cloth diapers that I never really used up from my first child. I find myself using them quite often as cleanup rags. What have you used your old cloth diapers for - or do you just give them/donate them away?

My mom crochets and we turned the cloth diapers into beautiful burp clothes. She crochets the edges and the look wonderful. Everybody at church wants them, but only I get to have them.

Lauren_3354, what a clever idea! This sounds like it could be a home business if your mom was willing to sell these. You might want to tell her to consider that or maybe YOU could learn how to do it and sell them yourself!

That is a neat idea! You could look into starting an etsy shop to sell them and I'd bet you'd get a lot of orders! I've heard of using them for rags before, but hadn't thought about other uses.

I will be using them as burp cloths for this baby. They are so absorbent and clean really well. I love that idea of crocheting a border around them. Maybe you can make a business out of them!!

We use them as burp cloths as well but I had never thought of making them decorative. I suppose it would be kind of like a woman's hankie! That would make a great at home business though.

I donated all of mine to a friend who was strapped for cash. She used them faithfully too, I was glad to see. It helped her out of a tight spot since she wasn't having to pay out for weekly diapers.
