My friend is 46, what are her chances?
They have never used birth control of any kind, but only have two children. Her husband commented that he'd love to have a couple more. How much chance do you think they have to conceive?

People have them at an older age, but chances are low. Also, you have to watch out for health issues and possibly do genetic testing... over 40 means higher chance of Down Syndrome.

I think not using birth control when you have a chance to become pregnant is irresponsible to start off with, but I am sure there are still chances. It would be best to check with a doc.

I guess if she is meant to have more kids, she is doing the right thing, trying and not using birth control. They are lucky that they have two kids. Now is a matter of waiting and see. Going to the doctor is also a good idea if they really want to find out if there is a physical condition why they can't get pregnant.
