I went through all the classes and still did not have a clue. I started having contractions every 5 minutes for 12 hours 9pm to 9am) then they stopped. Than at 10pm I went to the hospital at 3 minutes apart. They made me walk the hospital for and hour and half and admitted me at 11:30 so I called my parents and best friend. I loved the room and the fact I could get in the whirlpool bath tub. At 7cm they broke my water and it was all over from their. I went from 7 to 10 in about a half hour and it took 45 minutes of pushing and he was out. I also did med free delivery, but my best friend says it felt like I was going to break her hand. I didn't really feel the contractions, I just listened to my doctor tell me to push and I did. At 6:45am my son was born. A happy healthy baby boy of 7 pounds and 9 ounces.
